According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands and then Hill House. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School and studied ballet, while also performing in school's productions. When she was 16 she quit school in order in order to pursue acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy grew up as an actor who was certain she would be an actor. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
